The Francis Okoro Foundation is dedicated to giving children the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream without limits. We believe every child deserves a chance not because of where they were born, but because of the greatness inside them.
Founded in 2018 by Francis Okoro, the mission began with one goal:
to help children stay in school and build confidence through education, sports, and mentorship.
When Francis met Isabella, he discovered someone who carried the same heart for children and community support. Together, they expanded the vision reaching more families, more communities, and more dreams across Nigeria.
Our Purpose

Our Founders
Francis Okoro was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and grew up in a town filled with violence and little hope. He is the first son of his parents and has five younger siblings. Growing up, watching his parents especially his mother struggle to put food on the table was not easy. He saw his mother hawking corn on her head and standing by the fire all day, selling cooked corn on the streets just to provide for the family.
Francis had many dreams growing up, but because of his family’s financial situation, education often felt out of reach. At a young age, he believed school was not meant for him and began doing whatever hard labor jobs he could find to help support his family.
Through sports, Francis was blessed with a scholarship that allowed him to attend school in the United States. Having seen firsthand how difficult life was for children growing up in neighborhoods like his, his heart always remained at home. Even while studying and playing sports, he knew he would one day support children facing the same struggles he once faced.
After high school, Francis attended college, earned a degree in Environmental Science, and later pursued his professional basketball career. Today, he plays professional basketball in Europe.
Through his foundation, many children have been given hope, many families have been reunited, and many young people have been given the chance to chase their dreams.
