The Francis Okoro Foundation is dedicated to giving children the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream without limits. We believe every child deserves a chance — not because of where they were born, but because of the greatness inside them.

Founded in 2018 by Francis Okoro, the mission began with one goal:
to help children stay in school and build confidence through education, sports, and mentorship.

When Francis met Isabella, he discovered someone who carried the same heart for children and community support. Together, they expanded the vision — reaching more families, more communities, and more dreams across Nigeria.

Our Purpose

Millions of children carry dreams bigger than their circumstances. Poverty, lack of access to education, and limited community support hold many back.

Our foundation exists to break these barriers by providing:

Our Founders

Francis Okoro grew up facing the same challenges as many of the children he supports today. Opportunities were scarce, resources were limited, and the future was uncertain. But through hard work, faith, and a scholarship earned through sports, his life changed. That opportunity opened doors for him to study abroad, graduate from college, and become a professional basketball player.

Throughout his journey, Francis carried one desire in his heart: to return home and help children who remind him of his younger self. Even while studying and playing professionally, he supported kids however he could — paying school fees, providing supplies, and offering mentorship from a distance.

But he soon realized something important:
there are countless children who will never waste an opportunity if someone simply gives them one.

This inspired him to create the Francis Okoro Foundation — a place where others can join him in giving children hope, education, and a real chance at life.

At the core of his mission is his faith in God.
Francis believes that helping others reflects the heart of God, and every act of support is an expression of divine love.

Today, while continuing his professional basketball career, Francis remains deeply committed to impacting children’s lives and empowering the next generation to dream beyond their circumstances.
